Carolina Adventure World

Carolina Adventure World is a 2,600-acre off-road park located at 1515 Arrowhead Road in Winnsboro, South Carolina, off Interstate 77 between Charlotte, North Carolina, and Columbia, South Carolina. The park features more than 120 miles of custom-designed trails accommodating ATVs, UTVs, and dirt bikes. Terrain includes multiple mud bogs, a rock crawl, and a banked oval track. A Welcome Center houses equipment rentals, dining, a camp store, merchandise, and Wi-Fi access. Additional amenities include a bathhouse, ATV and equipment wash stations, barbecue pits, and free parking for cars and trailers. Rentals are available for side-by-sides, ATVs, and dirt bikes, along with guided tour options. Lodging includes log cabins and yurts at the lake, RV sites with water and power hookups, tent camping, and a private group camping area. The Arrowhead Tavern and Pavilion provides food and beverage service. The park hosts year-round events and live music, and monthly full-moon night rides keep trails open until midnight.

Enoree OHV Trail

Enoree OHV Trail

The Enoree OHV Trail is located in the Enoree Ranger District of Sumter National Forest, South Carolina, offering 23 miles of interconnecting loops through rolling Piedmont hills and pine forests. The trail is managed exclusively for ATVs and dirt or dual-sport bikes; Jeeps and other four-wheel drive vehicles are not permitted. The maximum ATV width accommodated is 50 inches. Trail difficulty ranges from easy to moderate, with a beginner loop available for children on smaller bikes or ATVs. Children under 16 are required to wear helmets. The trail surface is sand and Piedmont clay, which can be dusty in dry weather and slick when wet. The season runs from the last Friday in March through the first Monday after January 1; the trail closes during wet weather. Fees are $5 per OHV per day or $50 per person per season, payable via Recreation.gov. A large pull-through parking lot with loading ramps is on site.

Gulches ORV Park

Gulches ORV Park, located at 6850 Indian Mound Road in Waterloo, South Carolina, is the only legal riding area in the state designated for full-size 4x4 vehicles. The park spans nearly 80 acres and features more than 50 named trails covering a range of difficulty levels from easy and intermediate to difficult and extremely challenging. Named trails such as Shipwreck, Death Valley, and Pirate's Revenge draw riders seeking technical terrain. The park holds official Jeep Badge of Honor Trail designation. On-site camping includes riverside campsites as well as cabin-style accommodations. Tour guides are available upon request. Gulches hosts organized off-road events throughout the year and welcomes ATVs, dirt bikes, side-by-sides, and 4x4 trucks.
