California Four Wheel Drive Association
Sacramento, CA
Statewide association established in 1959 to promote responsible use of public lands, preserve trail access, and sponsor family four-wheeling events in California. Cal4Wheel represents over 8,000 members and roughly 160 member clubs and maintains a full-time office in Sacramento.
New England Trail Rider Association
Middleboro, MA
Not-for-profit association of roughly 3,000 off-road motorcycle riders that organizes more than 70 family-oriented dirt bike events annually across New England and New York, including enduros, hare scrambles, and turkey runs. NETRA also advocates with state legislators and land managers to preserve off-road riding access.
Virginia Four Wheel Drive Association
Virginia Beach, VA
Statewide association formed in 1981 to give four-wheel-drive owners representation in Virginia legislation, now with over 500 members. VA4WDA organizes off-road education, sustainable land use, and OHV trail conservation projects, including recovery, winching, and Tread Lightly training.
Mile-Hi Jeep Club
Denver, CO
Formed in 1956 and chartered by the State of Colorado in 1957, Mile-Hi Jeep Club is the oldest Jeep club in Colorado and one of the oldest in the United States. Over 400 vehicle members are organized into 21 patrols in the Denver area, and the club runs the annual All-4-Fun week-long four-wheeling event.
West Rutland ATV Sportsman's Club
West Rutland, VT
One of the largest local clubs in the Vermont ATV Sportsman's Association and the club that founded VASA in 1998. WRASC maintains roughly 50 miles of Vermont ATV trails across three trailheads, has just over 200 members, and hosts club rides, poker runs, parades, and cookouts.
Redding Dirt Riders
Redding, CA
Nonprofit dirt bike club founded in 1970 with more than 150 riders in Northern California. The club puts on the Shasta Dam Grand Prix, the Buckhorn Enduro, and the New Year's Poker Run, and supports its riding community through trail maintenance and collaboration with the BLM.
Wasatch Outlaw Wheelers
Ogden, UT
Family-oriented off-road 4x4 club based in Ogden, Utah, started in 1993 with about 60 members. The club schedules trail rides every month at locations throughout Utah and runs out-of-state trips including the Easter Jeep Safari in Moab and Winter On The Rocks in southern Utah.
Arizona 4 Wheel Drive Association
Tempe, AZ
Nonprofit association of Arizona four-wheel-drive clubs, incorporated in 1965 and formerly known as the Arizona State Association of 4 Wheel Drive Clubs (ASA4WDC). It promotes responsible family four-wheeling and works with state and federal land managers to keep roads and trails open for motorized recreation.
ATV Association of Minnesota

First organized in 1983, ATV Minnesota is the state association representing around 70 ATV clubs and riding families across Minnesota. It promotes safe, responsible ATV riding, helps clubs build and maintain trails for the riding public, and publishes the Minnesota Wheelin' member magazine.
ATV Maine
ME
Statewide association that serves as the unified voice for safe and responsible ATV use in Maine. ATV Maine educates, advocates, and represents trail riders and member ATV clubs located throughout the state's northern, eastern, southern, western, and central regions.
Colorado Off-Highway Vehicle Coalition
CO
Statewide coalition established in 1987 to represent, assist, educate, and empower OHV recreationists in Colorado. COHVCO advocates for responsible off-highway motorized recreation and runs OHV training workshops with land managers and partner organizations.
Great Lakes Four Wheel Drive Association
MI
Noncommercial association of four-wheel-drive clubs and enthusiasts that serves as the voice of full-size 4WD vehicle owners in Michigan, working with local and state government to keep trails open and maintained. Through its member clubs, GLFWDA sponsors annual trail maintenance on 180 miles of Michigan DNR ORV routes.
New Hampshire Off Highway Vehicle Association
Cornish Flat, NH
Founded in July 2001, NHOHVA is a communications forum for off-highway recreational vehicle enthusiasts, clubs, and supporters in New Hampshire and surrounding states. Members of any NHOHVA-affiliated club receive association membership, and the group promotes education and a positive image of OHRV recreation.
Pacific Northwest Four Wheel Drive Association
WA
Nonprofit association of four-wheel-drive clubs and individuals incorporated in 1960 as the Pacific Northwest Jeep Association and later renamed to welcome all 4WD makes. Organized into eight regions covering Washington, Oregon, and Idaho, it promotes vehicle-oriented outdoor recreation while preserving the environment and trail access.
Perry Mountain Motorcycle Club
Plantersville, AL
Member-run off-road motorcycle club in central Alabama that has produced the Perry Mountain 24-Hour Challenge near Maplesville since 2002, a team endurance race that draws around 125 racers each year. The club also hosts the annual Tower Run dual-sport event.
Pirates of the Rubicon 4WD Club
CA
Member-run 4WD and rock-crawling club in Northern California closely associated with the Rubicon Trail. Membership is by sponsorship: prospective members must attend club events and meetings and be voted in by the existing membership.
Red Rock 4-Wheelers
Moab, UT
Member-run four-wheel-drive club based in Moab, Utah, formed in 1979. The club hosts the famous Easter Jeep Safari, a nine-day trail-riding event in the Moab backcountry that it took over from the Moab Chamber of Commerce, and is active in land stewardship and trail-access advocacy in southeastern Utah.
Rising Sun 4WD Club of Colorado
Denver, CO
Denver-area four-wheel-drive club for Toyota 4x4 owners, with members from Boulder to Durango driving everything from vintage FJ40s to new Tacomas. Since 1997 the club has organized an annual all-Toyota 4x4 event in Moab, Utah, and it is a chapter of the Toyota Land Cruiser Association.
Southern Four Wheel Drive Association

Nonprofit 501(c)(4) association of four-wheel-drive clubs and individual members across the southeastern United States, formed in 1987 and based in Friendsville, Tennessee. SFWDA focuses on conservation, education, and recreation, working to keep off-road trails open across the Southeast.
United Four Wheel Drive Associations
Bakersfield, CA
Umbrella organization formed in 1976 that represents four-wheel-drive associations, clubs, and individual enthusiasts on land-use and access issues. Headquartered in Bakersfield, California, it advocates for 4x4 recreation at the national and international level.
Utah 4 Wheel Drive Association
Salt Lake City, UT
Founded in 1978, U4WDA is dedicated to the four-wheeling lifestyle and multiple use of public lands in Utah. The association has performed service projects for nearly every BLM office and Forest Service district in the state, from fence building at Little Sahara to trail repair in American Fork Canyon, and lobbies land managers for continued 4x4 access.
Vermont ATV Sportsman's Association
Barre, VT
Statewide association formed in 1998 by the West Rutland ATV Sportsman's Club to plan, build, and manage Vermont's statewide ATV trail system. VASA membership gives riders access to a maintained trail network across the state and supports trail development, safety programs, and conservation.
Wisconsin ATV/UTV Association
Sheboygan, WI
Statewide association for ATV and UTV riders and clubs in Wisconsin, based in Sheboygan. WATVA helps form and support local OHV clubs, provides safety and education programs for youth and adults, and publishes trail and route information for riders across the state.
