The Swamp OffRoad Park

The Swamp OffRoad Park is a privately operated off-road riding facility in Washington County near Chipley in the Florida Panhandle, approximately 80 miles east of Pensacola and 65 miles west of Tallahassee. The park's terrain reflects the northern Florida upland character: red clay and sandy-loam soil over rolling hill terrain, pine forest with wiregrass understory, and creek drainages that fill seasonally and produce natural mud conditions. Trails span multiple difficulty levels from wide gravel-base loops to tight wooded single-track and dedicated hill-climb and mud bog sections. ATVs, UTVs, and dirt bikes are permitted. On-site camping supports weekend visits. The park hosts organized events throughout the year including mud bog competitions and weekend ride gatherings that draw riders from the Panhandle, southern Alabama, and the Georgia border region. The Swamp fills a critical gap in the Panhandle OHV landscape, the region between Pensacola and Tallahassee has limited public land OHV options, making commercial parks like this the primary legal riding venue for the area's off-road community.
