Rush Off-Road

Rush Off-Road is a 7,000-acre privately owned OHV park in Lawrence County, northeastern Kentucky, on the Tug Fork watershed near Louisa: approximately 30 miles south of Huntington, West Virginia, and within the same Appalachian ridge-and-hollow country that defines the tri-state corner of Kentucky, West Virginia, and Virginia. The park organizes its trail system into two named systems, 3 Pole and 4 Mile, that together deliver 100+ miles of rated trail from easy scenic rides through the mature hardwood forest to expert rock crawl sections that require both technical skill and capable machine hardware. The vehicle mix is intentionally broad: ATVs, UTVs, dirt bikes, and 4x4 Jeep vehicles are all permitted, and the trail network has been designed to accommodate their different widths and capability levels on the same property. Three on-site fishing ponds provide a non-riding amenity for guests and families; the park also hosts National Rock Racing Association sanctioned competition events that draw regional competitors. Primitive camping is included with a permit at no extra charge, a meaningful value add compared to parks that charge separate camping fees. Day permits are $35; week passes $55; annual passes $120. Hours extend to 11pm weekdays and midnight on weekends, allowing evening riding sessions (606-929-5552).
