Morris Mountain ORV

Morris Mountain ORV Park in Delta, Cleburne County, sits at the foot of Cheaha Mountain (at 2,407 feet, Alabama's highest point), giving the park a mountain backdrop and trail character distinct from the flat-terrain parks elsewhere in the state. The park spans several hundred acres of forested slopes with trails suited to ATVs, UTVs, dirt bikes, and side-by-sides across difficulty ratings from beginner to advanced. A notable operating quirk: Morris Mountain runs on a bimonthly schedule, open only on the second and fourth weekends of each month rather than weekly. This keeps the trail system from becoming overrun while maintaining a consistent regular schedule that repeat visitors plan around. The proximity to Talladega National Forest and Cheaha State Park makes the area a natural weekend destination combining off-road riding with hiking or lake access at Lake Wedowee and Lake Martin nearby. Primitive camping is available on park property on open weekends.
