  We had such an amazing experience from beginning to end! As soon as we arrived, everyone made us feel welcome, and the atmosphere was fun and positive. Our shuttle driver, Jericno, was absolutely awesome. He was incredibly friendly, funny, and shared lots of interesting stories during the ride. Even when unexpected situations came up, he stayed calm, professional, and always did his best to help everyone and make sure everything went smoothly. He really made the trip start off on the right note. When we reached the starting point, we met our guides, Nato and Samson, and they were fantastic! They were energetic, hilarious, and made the whole experience unforgettable. They shared interesting information, stopped at beautiful viewpoints, and constantly encouraged everyone, telling us we were doing great. Their positive energy and sense of humor made the adventure so much more enjoyable. The entire experience was incredibly fun, well organized, and full of great memories. We are so happy we chose this company, and we would absolutely do the this tour again. Huge thanks to Jericho, Nato, and Samson for making it such a special day. We highly recommend this experience to anyone visiting the Big Island!

  Amazing time and unforgettable story telling. This was a standout experience for my husband and me - the staff were so incredibly kind and also so funny! I loved Jericho’s storytelling against the most beautiful backdrop. I admittedly knew nothing about Hawaiian culture or history and his storytelling was mesmerizing and now I’m looking for books to learn more about the culture and history from native Hawaiian’s perspectives. We had a wonderful time on this adventure and a ton of fun. The scenery was just jaw dropping. Amazing time and would highly recommend.

  There are experiences you enjoy, and then there are ones that stay with you—and this was absolutely the latter. Spending the morning on the Hawaiian countryside, overlooking the ocean and sweeping valleys, felt like stepping into another world. The views alone were breathtaking, but what truly made it unforgettable was everything that came with it. Jericho, Samson, and Nato brought the entire experience to life in a way I didn’t expect. They have this incredible balance of being genuinely kind—honestly, they could all have a future in comedy—while also being deeply knowledgeable, thoughtful, and fun. You can tell they truly care about what they do, and that passion shines through in every story they share and every moment they create. Learning about the history of Kohala and hearing stories about King Kamehameha in such a setting added a whole new level of appreciation. It wasn’t just information—it felt like forming a real connection to the land and its past. Kohala UTV Adventures delivered something truly special. This isn’t just a tour—it’s an experience filled with laughter, perspective, and genuine connection. Every detail felt intentional, and every guide made sure you were having the best time possible.   We've done the UTV tour on Oahu and that was great but Kohala was better. Riding with the guides at Kohala (Jericho, Sampson, and Nathaniel), you feel like you're just out blasting through the mud/dirt with old friends. They really do an excellent job telling short historical stories about the island. It's was nice to get some quick training ahead of time to get a feel for the machine and what the trails will be like. Oh and the piglet along for the ride was pretty cute.
