Windrock Park
The largest privately owned OHV recreation area in the United States, Windrock Park covers 73,000 acres in Anderson County northwest of Knoxville with 300+ miles of trails rated from beginner to extreme. ATVs, UTVs, dirt bikes, full-size Jeeps, trucks, and mountain bikes are all permitted. A Land Use Permit is required per person regardless of age or activity: day passes start at $20/adult. The park operates a full-service campground, cabins, a General Store, shooting range, bike park, RC park, and event venue on site.

Adventure Off Road Park
Adventure Off Road Park is a privately operated outdoor recreation facility covering more than 600 acres in South Pittsburg, South Central Tennessee. The trail system is designed to accommodate vehicles ranging from stock Jeeps and UTVs to full rock bouncers, with terrain that includes hardwood forest trails, creek beds, steep hill climbs, and rock gardens. Color-coded trails designate difficulty levels from easy to difficult. Main access roads are maintained for navigation between trail sections. On-site lodging includes multiple bunkhouse cabins, a farmhouse with full kitchen and multiple bedrooms, and primitive camping sites alongside RV hookups. The park offers park-wide Wi-Fi, firewood for sale, and large gathering areas with fire pits. The property is also available for private rental for events, film production, and vehicle testing.
Big South Fork NRRA
A 125,000-acre National Park Service unit on the Cumberland Plateau in Scott, Fentress, Morgan, and Pickett counties, with 100+ miles of designated OHV roads and trails shared between Tennessee and adjacent Kentucky sections. ATVs, off-road motorcycles, and dune buggies are permitted on designated ridge-top roads; the river gorge is closed to OHV. No OHV permit or entrance fee is required; camping is available at Bandy Creek campground. The Bandy Creek Visitor Center near Oneida serves as the primary Tennessee staging point.
Brimstone Recreation
A 19,196-acre private OHV and outdoor adventure destination in the Cumberland Mountains of Scott County, with 300+ miles of marked and rated trails for motorcycles, ATVs, and UTVs. Full-size street-registered 4x4 trucks are not permitted — the system is optimized for the dirt bike and SxS crowd. Day permits run approximately $29/rider; ATV/UTV rentals, primitive camping, RV hookups, and cabin rentals are available. The registration office in Huntsville must be visited before heading to the trail property.
