Houston Valley OHV

Houston Valley OHV Trails, located just west of Dalton, Georgia, in the Chattahoochee National Forest, is the largest U.S. Forest Service OHV trail system in Georgia at 25 miles. The system is restricted to motorbikes and all-terrain vehicles; pickup trucks, four-wheel drive vehicles, and vehicles wider than 50 inches are not permitted. The trailhead offers paved parking for 35 tow vehicles, an ADA loading ramp, and an ADA-accessible vault toilet. Three primitive campsites are available at the trailhead. The system closes after significant rain events to allow trails to dry and limit resource damage; riders should call the Conasauga Ranger District before visiting. Fees are $5 per operator per day or $50 for an annual pass, purchasable via the Recreation.gov app.
